This online Football Management and Finance short course is offered by Birkbeck in collaboration with Off The Pitch. Course Details

  • Financial evolution of the European football industry

  • Football club transactions: investment trends and club valuation
  • Trends in football stadia
  • Developing youth players in football academies
  • Independent football regulator
• At the end of the course, there will be a two-hour examination (100%) assessment.
• The course is worth 15 credits at level 7.

Fees

• The tuition fee for the course is £1268.
• Students are charged a tuition fee for each module at enrolment.
• Module fees for students continuing on their programme in following years may be subject to annual inflationary increases.

Entry Requirements

• Most of Birkbeck's short courses have no formal entry requirements and are open to all students.
• This short course has no prerequisites.
• As part of the enrolment process, students may be required to submit a copy of a suitable form of ID.
• International students who wish to come to the UK to study a short course can apply for a Visitor visa.

How to Apply

• Students register directly onto the classes they would like to take.
• Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• If students wish to take more than one short course, they can select each one separately and then register onto them together via the online application portal.
• There is usually no formal selection process, although some modules may have prerequisites and/or other requirements, which will be specified where relevant.
