Master of Science in Information Systems
The Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program is designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in business administration. The program is offered on the Fullerton campus and is a STEM-designated program.
MSIS Key Features
- Choose from two MSIS degree concentrations: generalist or business analytics.
- Gain the knowledge and skills needed to assist organizations with their computer-based systems.
- Enhance written and oral communication skills.
Curriculum
The CSUF MS in Information Systems program requires students to complete 30 units of coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0. At least 21 of the 30 units must be at the 500 level. Additional prerequisite coursework may be required.
Prerequisites and Admission Requirements
The Master of Information Systems program requires students to submit the following:
- GMAT or GRE exam*
- Professional résumé
- Statement of purpose
- Official transcripts
- International students must also take one of the following three tests:
- TOEFL: minimum 570 (paper), 88 (IBIT)
- IELTS: minimum 7
- PTE: minimum 65
- Duolingo: minimum 120
*Waiver available for applicants that meet eligibility criteria.
