Program Overview

OF Exotic Pathology and Travel

The DU Exotic Pathology and Travel is a university diploma program offered by the University of Toulouse. The program aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to counsel travelers, manage tropical diseases, and understand the epidemiology of infectious diseases.

Admission

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:

• In Initial Training: Postgraduate students in medicine or pharmacy, Heads of clinics and AHU of Toulouse.
• In Continuing Education: Doctors of medicine holding a French or European Union diploma, Doctors of medicine holding a diploma outside the European Union registered with the Council of the Order in France, Doctor of pharmacy holding a French or European Union diploma, Doctors of pharmacy holding a diploma outside the European Union registered with the Council of the Order in France, Nurses holding a French or Union diploma European, Nurse DE holders of a diploma outside the European Union registered with the Council of the Order in France.

Program

The program consists of 6 sessions of 2 days each, totaling 12 days and 72 hours. The curriculum is divided into several modules, each covering a specific topic related to tropical diseases and travel medicine.

• WRITTEN final exam
• End of DU dissertation with oral defense

Registrations

The tuition fees for the program are:

• Price for registrations for continuing education: University registration fees €178 + training fees €900
• Price for registrations for initial training: University registration fees €300 (+ €34 if no other registration in progress at the UT + €105 CVEC if not already paid)

The application process involves submitting a letter of motivation, CV, and copies of diplomas, followed by an administrative registration process.
