Introduction to the DIU Endodontie Program
The DIU Endodontie program is a university diploma offered by the Faculty of Health at the University of Toulouse. This program aims to train professionals in the field of endodontics, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to practice endodontic treatments.
Presentation of the Formation
The DIU Endodontie program is designed to form practitioners who can exercise endodontic activities. The program focuses on providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze and criticize scientific articles, indicate orthograde endodontic treatments, and understand the materials and biomaterials used in endodontics.
Admission Criteria
To be eligible for the DIU Endodontie program, students must meet the following prerequisites:
- In initial training: Students must be in their third cycle of dental surgery (long cycle) specializing in bucco-dental medicine, or be a chief clinician or AHU in Toulouse.
- In continuing education: Students must be doctors in dental surgery holding a French or European Union diploma, or a diploma from outside the European Union.
Program Details
The program is divided into two years, with the following curriculum:
- First year: The program covers the basics of endodontics, including the analysis of healthy tissues, pathologies, and treatments.
- Second year: The program delves deeper into endodontics, covering topics such as traumatology, resorptions, and endodontic retreatments.

Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the program are as follows:
- First year: 178 (university registration fees) + 3000 (training fees)
