The DU Etudes de réparation du dommage corporel is a university diploma program that focuses on the study of bodily injury repair. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of medical expertise in the field of bodily injury repair.
Objectifs pedagogiques
The program's pedagogical objectives are to:
- Provide students with a thorough understanding of the bases of bodily injury repair, including the reasoning and discussion of medical-legal aspects
- Familiarize students with the stakes, relationships between parties, and relationships with the judicial world

The program is taught at the Toulouse campus, located at 37 allées Jules Guesde.
Durée de la formation
The program lasts for 1 year, consisting of 5 seminars from November to May, totaling 12 days or 80 hours.
Admission
Pré-requis
The prerequisites for admission to the program are:
- For initial training: students in their 3rd cycle (DES/DESC) of medical studies, students in their 3rd cycle (DES/DESC) of dental surgery studies, foreign students enrolled in DFMS/DFMSA of Medical Law, and chief physicians and AHU of the CHU of Toulouse
- For continuing education: doctors of medicine holding a French or European Union diploma, or a diploma from outside the European Union; doctors of dental surgery holding a French or European Union diploma, or a diploma from outside the European Union; midwives holding a French or European Union diploma, or a diploma from outside the European Union; lawyers, magistrates, and jurists (level BAC+5) holding a French or European Union diploma
Candidature
To apply, candidates must submit the following documents by email:
- Letter of motivation + CV + copy of diploma(s) allowing access to the desired diploma
- Copy of justificatory documents allowing access to initial training (e.g., certificate of schooling)
- Calendar for submitting applications: from April 1st to June 30th

Méthodes et moyens pédagogiques utilisés
The teachings are organized in the form of 4 seminars of 2.5 days and 1 seminar of 2 days (3 theoretical seminars and 2 practical seminars). The corresponding pedagogical documents are sent to students by email before the seminar.

The evaluation consists of:

Coűt de la formation
The cost of the program is:
- For continuing education: university registration fees of 178 + training fees of 1000
- For initial training: university registration fees of 300 (+ 34 if not already enrolled at UT + 105 of CVEC if not already paid)
Modalités d'inscription
To register, students must:
- Submit a candidacy application that receives a favorable opinion from the teacher responsible for the training
- After validation, students will be contacted by email by the MFCA manager who will indicate the administrative registration procedures to be followed (quote, contract or convention, payment of training fees and university registration fees)
- Students must be administratively registered before the start of the teachings.
