Introduction to the DIU Endodontie Program
The DIU Endodontie is a university diploma program offered by the Université de Toulouse, focusing on endodontics. Admission
Pré-requis
The prerequisites for the program include:
- For initial training: Students in their third cycle of dental surgery (long cycle) specializing in bucco-dental medicine, and chiefs of clinics and AHU of Toulouse.
- For continuing education: Doctors in dental surgery holding a French or European Union diploma, or a diploma from outside the European Union.
Candidature
The application process involves:
- Examining the application file
- CV and letter of motivation
- Probatory examination (comprehension of an English article and realization of an endodontic act)
Programme
The program is divided into two years, with the following subjects covered:
- First year: Healthy tissues, pathologies, treatments, and canal preparation and obturation.
- Second year: Traumatology, resorptions, endodontic retreatments, general pathologies and endodontics, special treatments, coronal-radicular dental restorations, and orofacial pains.

- For continuing education: 1st year - 178 (university registration fees) + 3000 (training fees), 2nd year - 178 (university registration fees) + 3000 (training fees).
- For initial training: 1st year - 300 (university registration fees) + 34 (if not already enrolled at UT) + 105 (CVEC if not already paid), 2nd year - 300 (university registration fees) + 34 (if not already enrolled at UT) + 105 (CVEC if not already paid).
