Introduction to the DIU Poumon and Maladies SystÚmiques Program

The DIU Poumon and Maladies SystÚmiques is a university diploma program offered by the University of Toulouse. Admission

To be eligible for the program, students must meet certain prerequisites.


PrÚ-requis

The prerequisites for the program are as follows:


  • For students in initial training: students in the 3rd cycle (DES/DESC) of medical studies at the University of Toulouse or another French university, specializing in pneumology, internal medicine, or allergology.
  • For students of foreign nationality enrolled in DFMS/DFMSA at the University of Toulouse or another French university.
  • For hospital practitioners: chief physicians and hospital assistants assigned to the Toulouse University Hospital.
  • For continuing education: doctors holding a French or European Union diploma, specializing in pneumology, internal medicine, or allergology.

Candidature

To apply for the program, students must submit the following documents by email:


  • A letter of motivation and professional project, along with a CV and a copy of the diploma allowing access to the desired degree.
  • A copy of the certificate of attendance or other justifying documents for access to initial training.
  • The calendar for submitting applications is from June 1st to August 31st.

Inscriptions

The cost of the program is as follows:


  • For continuing education: registration fees of 178 euros + training fees of 1430 euros.
  • For initial training: university registration fees of 300 euros (+ 34 euros if not already enrolled at the University of Toulouse + 105 euros for CVEC if not already paid).

ModalitÚs d'Inscription

To register for the program, students must follow these steps:


  1. Submit an application, which must receive a favorable opinion from the teacher responsible for the training.
  2. After validation by the SUDPC2S, students will be contacted by email to complete the administrative registration procedures (quote, contract or agreement, payment of training fees and university registration fees).
  3. Students must be administratively registered before the start of the training.
