Introduction to the License Pro Parcours Conseiller en Produits Dermocosmétiques (CPDC)

The License Pro Parcours Conseiller en Produits Dermocosmétiques (CPDC) is a professional license program designed to train students in the field of dermocosmetic products. The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in various sectors, including the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.


Presentation of the Formation

The objective of the program is to form students who can exercise activities related to dermocosmetic products, particularly counseling in pharmacies, parapharmacies, selective perfumeries, specialized spaces, department stores, and franchised chains. The program also enables students to manage specialized sales points, animate brands, train sales teams or pharmaceutical personnel, sell and negotiate in B to B for cosmetic industry companies.

Prerequisites

  • Niveau(x) de recrutement: Bac + 2
  • Formation(s) requise(s): The target audience for the License Professionnelle Conseiller en produits dermocosmétiques is primarily students who have completed a License 2 (Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences) and extends to students who have graduated from IUT (BUT), BTS, BTSA, DEUST, and preparatory courses in pharmacy, as well as those in continuing education, provided their basic scientific knowledge is sufficient.

Candidature

  • Modalités de candidature: Application through e-candidat (submission of the dossier) followed by an oral interview before a jury.

Program

  • 450 hours of theoretical teachings (September to April)
  • Initial training: Internship (April to July, company): 12 weeks minimum to 16 weeks maximum
  • Alternating training: Alternated rhythm: 1 week of courses / 1 to 2 weeks in the company
  • Continuing education: Internship or salaried activity in the company

Theoretical teachings take place over the same period as the group in initial or continuing training. The total hourly volume of theoretical training is 450 hours. The training includes 28 to 29 weeks of salaried activity in the company, interrupted by periods of 1 to 2 weeks for theoretical teachings.

  • Inform the client about the properties and safety of use of dermo-cosmetic products and their composition, based on the knowledge of galenic formulation, the role of active ingredients and excipients [Level Mastery]
  • Design counseling on hygiene, care, and prevention of dermo-cosmetic products, based on the knowledge of product properties and their application mode, knowledge of skin physiology, and client needs [Level Mastery]
  • Communicate with the client about a dermo-cosmetic product: adapt the speech to the client's profile using the tools and techniques inherent to human relations and sales [Level Mastery]
  • Define and implement the commercial policy of the dermo-cosmetic product sales space [Level Mastery]
  • Integrate into the professional environment by mastering the functioning of the company, the legal framework of dermo-cosmetic products, and labor legislation [Level Mastery]
  • Give an international dimension and communicate, advise, and sell dermo-cosmetic products to diversified interlocutors using professional, technical, and usual English [Level Mastery]
  • Animate, train, inform, and sell to distribution networks on behalf of manufacturers by mobilizing commercial knowledge (commercial negotiation, merchandising, animation, training, ) [Level Mastery]
