Program Overview

Introduction to the M2 Chimie-Santť Program

The M2 Chimie-Santť program is designed for students who have completed their M1 in Chimie-Santť or a related field. This program provides advanced training in chemistry and its applications in the health sector.

Conditions of Entry

• Students who have completed their M1 in Chimie-Santť are eligible for direct admission to the M2 Chimie-Santť program.
• Students from other Master 1 programs in Chemistry must apply through the e-candidat platform for admission based on their dossier.

Semestre 9 Curriculum

The first semester includes a common core with the Physique du Vivant specialty, featuring:

• Biologie structurale et imagerie, premiŤre partie (3 ECTS, 26 hours of lectures + 10 hours of practical work)
• Modťlisation multi-ťchelle en physique et chimie (3 ECTS, project-based work)
• Anglais (3 ECTS, 24 hours of tutorials)
• A professionalization unit common to all M2 Chimie paths (6 ECTS, 30 hours of lectures + 30 hours of conferences and workshops)
• 5 specialty units:
  1. Candidat mťdicament, dťveloppement et production (3 ECTS, 36 hours of lectures)
  2. Imagerie, radiothťrapie et thťrapies cancťreuses (3 ECTS, 36 hours of lectures)
  3. Formulation et vectorisation de composťs bioactifs (3 ECTS, 36 hours of lectures)
  4. Toxicologie et pharmacologie (3 ECTS, 26 hours of lectures + project-based work)
  5. Travail encadrť de l'ťtudiant (3 ECTS, 36 hours of tutorials)

Semestre 10 Curriculum

• A research internship in an industrial or university laboratory, either in France or abroad (30 ECTS)

Additional Information

• The program starts with a welcome meeting on September 2, 2019, at 10:00 AM.
• Courses run from September 3 to December 6, 2019, with a break from October 29 to November 2, 2019.
• Exams for Semestre 9 take place between December 16 and 20, 2019.
• The research internship for Semestre 10 is from January 6 to June 30, 2020.
• Results for the M2 are announced the week of July 13, 2020.
