Program Overview

Master DET Program: Dynamique des Fluides, Energťtique et Transferts

The Master DET program forms experts in fluid mechanics and energy, with an opening to innovation, research, and development.

Key Points of the Formation

  • A specialized training in mechanical engineering and energy
  • Learning by alternation over one or two years
  • A strong backing to research, with state-of-the-art laboratories
  • A Master's degree recognized nationally and internationally
  • Opportunities towards research and industry (alternation, theses, industrial partnerships, internships)
  • Rapid employability in various sectors: aeronautics, space, transport, energy, environment, defense, health

A Formation Adapted to Different Profiles

For Students of the University of Toulouse

  • They follow a complete curriculum of 60 ECTS with advanced and professional teachings.
  • Professional finality: engineer, researcher, or executive in a company or laboratory.

For Engineering Students (ENSEEIHT, INSA Toulouse, ISAE-SupAťro, IMT Mines Albi)

  • They follow a common core of 12 ECTS in addition to their curriculum.
  • Objective: to deepen their skills in modeling fluid and thermal systems.

Varied and Strategic Outcomes

The Master DET is an undifferentiated training, opening as much to immediate professional integration as to a pursuit in doctorate. A thesis can be carried out in partnership with industry, notably via a Cifre agreement.
