Admission Requirements

• Admission Criteria: Individuals who have obtained a university bachelor's degree or a professional bachelor's (college) degree and have completed additional studies, depending on the admission requirements of each program.

• Foreign Education: If education is acquired abroad, the same admission requirements apply. Vilniaus Universitetas has the right to recognize foreign university diplomas, so there is no need to apply separately.

Application Process

1. Get to Know the Admission Requirements: Check the admission requirements for the program.
2. Submit an Application: Submit applications through the VU ISAS system.
3. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the application fee (50.00 EUR for those who graduated from a university in Lithuania or 100.00 EUR for those who graduated from a university abroad).
4. Register Documents: Register required documents electronically if the diploma was not transferred automatically.

Tuition Fees

• Annual Tuition Fee: 5,538 EUR for a state-funded spot.

Scholarships

Vilniaus Universitetas students can apply for scholarships for good academic performance, active scientific, sports, or social activities, as well as social support for students in difficult life situations.

State-Funded Loans

Students can use state-funded loans, which are provided according to the procedure established by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. These loans are intended to help finance studies and living expenses during the study period.

Reduction of Tuition Fees

Tuition fees can be reduced in the following cases:

• Active Scientific Activity: If a student is actively involved in scientific activities, the tuition fee reduction can range from 30% to 100%, depending on the achievements.
• Active Cultural Activity: If a student has been actively involved in the university's cultural activities for at least 2 years, the tuition fee reduction can range from 30% to 90%, depending on the achievements.
• Active Sports: If a student is actively engaged in sports and represents the university, the tuition fee reduction can range from 30% to 100%, depending on the sports achievements.
• University Employees: A university employee's tuition fee can be reduced by up to 70% if they work at the university for at least half a year and have been continuously employed for at least 10 months.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the Music Pedagogy program can become teachers in general and non-formal education, leaders in education, culture, and art organizations, and can also pursue academic careers as lecturers or researchers. They can also work as music educators in museums and cultural centers, organize cultural events, and lead art projects.
