Economics and Investment Programme
The Economics and Investment programme is designed to develop specialists in economics who are capable of solving present-day economic problems. The programme provides students with a knowledge of economics, mathematics, management, finance, law, marketing, accounting, and other key subjects.
Programme Description
This programme offers an all-round education in economics, ensuring greater versatility for students. Upon completion, graduates will be able to analyse economic situations at a company, country, and global level, as well as develop skills to assess and manage the finances of businesses, banks, or in the public sphere.

Programme Plan
The studies provide an all-round education in economics to ensure greater versatility. Students will gain the competencies necessary for the development of their own business or for working in a wide range of companies and institutions. To deepen their competencies, students can choose modules from two blocks of elective study subjects: Finance and Investments, and the Global Economy. Students can also choose to enrol in distance learning.
Admission Requirements
Entry Qualification
Applicants must meet the general and programme-specific admission requirements.
Language Requirements
English language proficiency is required. The following language certificates are accepted: IELTS Academic 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 81+, Cambridge English Exam 176+, Pearson PTE Academic 59+, LanguageCert IESOL B2, Duolingo English Test 120+, Password Skills Plus 6.5+, or another language proficiency certificate equivalent to B2 CEFR.
Other Requirements
A motivation letter must be added to the application.
Territory Requirements
Applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and other non-EU citizens who require additional knowledge testing must submit an OMPT-A (Online Mathematics Placement Test) Certificate with a minimum passing grade of 55%.

Financing
Annual Tuition Fee
For a state non-funded place, the annual tuition fee is 3,540 EUR for non-EU students and 3,250 EUR for EU students.
Application Fee
The application fee is €100 per application. Each applicant can choose up to three programmes within one application.
Career Prospects
Graduates of the Economics and Investment programme may become economists or financial analysts, responsible for forecasting economic indicators. With knowledge of micro and macro-economics, finance, investments, and statistics, they will be ready to take on positions in the public or private sector.
