Program Plan

Admission Requirements
- To apply for the Master's studies, one must have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- The admission requirements and the composition of the competitive score are provided in the Competitive Score Structure Table.
- For those who have acquired education abroad, the same admission requirements apply. Vilnius University has the right to recognize foreign university diplomas.
Application Process
- Get Familiar with Admission Requirements: Check the requirements for the program and ensure you qualify.
- Submit an Application: Applications are submitted through the VU ISAS system. Admission to Master's studies takes place in three stages. After the first stage, only vacant places are available in subsequent stages.
- Pay the Application Fee: The application fee is 50.00 EUR for those who graduated from a university in Lithuania and 100.00 EUR for those who graduated from a university abroad.
- Register Documents: For many graduates of Lithuanian higher education institutions who graduated from 2005 to the present, data is automatically imported into the admission system. It is essential to check if the transfer was successful.
Study Results
Upon completing the program, graduates will be able to:
- Organize and manage publishing processes, applying digital publishing business models and creating new publishing products.
- Creatively apply knowledge of communication, law, management, and marketing sciences in the contemporary publishing industry.
- Research and analyze media and publishing phenomena, considering new forms of content and reader needs.
- Understand publishing processes and their theoretical foundations, critically evaluating and interpreting communication theories and research methodologies.
- Work in a team and lead, motivating team members to achieve common goals and generating new ideas for publishing products.
Financing
- Annual Tuition Fee for a non-state funded place: 4,606 EUR
- Scholarships: Available for excellent academic performance, active scientific, sports, or social activities, and social support for students in difficult life situations.
- State-funded Loans: Students can use state-funded loans to finance their studies and living expenses during their studies, administered by the State Studies Foundation.
Career Opportunities
Graduates can work in management positions in public and private sector digital and print publishing, communications, and media institutions or establish their own publishing and media businesses. They can also pursue careers in other fields where skills in communication, team leadership, and information communication technologies are valued.
