Program Overview

The Financial Analytics program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become specialists in financial analysis, accounting, financial markets, or banking. The program covers three areas of study: finance, accounting, and computer science.

Admission Requirements

• Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must have passed at least three state exams:
  • Lithuanian language and literature (basic or advanced course);
  • Mathematics (basic or advanced course);
  • Any other state exam chosen by the applicant.
• The average score of the three state exams must be at least 50.

Program Curriculum

The program curriculum includes courses in finance, economics, accounting, investments, and data analysis. Students will work with real financial data and modern business analytics tools, modeling market changes, assessing risks, and making decisions based on analysis. The program also covers financial management principles, financial reporting, accounting, taxation, and risk assessment.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the program can work in various companies, including commercial banks, audit firms, financial accounting and process management companies, and other financial institutions. Possible career paths include financial analyst, investment manager, financial broker, auditor, accounting specialist, financial accounting and process management specialist, data analyst, risk analyst, and credit consultant.

Tuition Fees

The annual tuition fee for the program is 3,176 EUR.

Scholarships

Vilnius University students can apply for scholarships based on their academic performance, research activities, sports achievements, or social needs.

State-Funded Loans

Students can apply for state-funded loans to cover tuition fees and living expenses during their studies.

Reduction of Tuition Fees

Tuition fees can be reduced for students who are actively involved in research activities, cultural activities, or sports, as well as for university employees who work at least half-time and have been employed by the university for at least 10 months.

Compensation of Tuition Fees

Students can receive compensation for their tuition fees based on their academic performance.
