The Politics and Media program is a modern, interdisciplinary study of the interaction between politics and media, examining how various media participate in the political process, how media political agendas are formed, and how media influence social relationships and political action. The program combines theoretical preparation, analytical and practical skills, and creative projects, training experts in political communication and information, public intellectuals, civic activists, and media policy researchers.

Curriculum
The curriculum is based on an understanding of the study field, comprising compulsory subjects for modern political, communication, and power theory analysis and application, as well as elective subjects. With over 20 elective subjects to choose from, each student can create a study plan that matches their interests. The third semester focuses on preparing and writing a Master's thesis.

Application Process

State-Funded Loans
Students can use state-funded loans, which are provided according to the procedure established by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. These loans are intended to help finance studies and living expenses during the study period.
Reduction of Tuition Fees
Tuition fees can be reduced in the following cases:
- Active scientific activity: If a student is actively involved in scientific activities, the tuition fee reduction can range from 30% to 100%, depending on achievements.
- Active cultural activity: If a student has been actively involved in the university's cultural activities for at least two years, the tuition fee reduction can range from 30% to 90%, depending on achievements.
- Active sports: If a student is actively engaged in sports and represents the University, the tuition fee reduction can range from 30% to 100%, depending on sports achievements.
- University employees: A University employee's tuition fee can be reduced by up to 70% if they work at the University for at least half a year and have been continuously employed for at least 10 months.
