AL4ALL Applied Linguistics for All

AL4ALL is a specialized forum for PhD candidates and young researchers to discuss and present their research projects that utilize applied linguistics methods.

Main Information

AL4ALL aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and discussion among researchers from various fields. The project consists of 10 online seminars, each lasting 90 minutes, where participants can present their methods and engage in discussions.

Whom Are We Looking For?

PhD students and young researchers from all disciplines who use applied linguistics methods in their research are invited to participate.

Benefits to Join

Presenters will receive a certificate for delivering the seminar and attending all 10 seminars. The organizers will also try to arrange for presenters to receive ECTS credits in accordance with their home university's program.

Structure of the Seminar

The seminar will consist of a 45-60 minute presentation, followed by a 25-30 minute discussion. Participants are encouraged to present their research project, linguistic methodology, and expected or preliminary results.

Application and Deadlines

Applicants must submit a motivational letter of 250-500 words, excluding references, by October 22. Successful applicants will be notified by October 29.

The seminars will take place on Microsoft Teams platform. Registered listeners can access the seminars and receive reading materials through a provided link.
