Program Overview
Introduction to the Mind Body Boost Program
The Mind Body Boost program is a six-week psychological and physical well-being enhancement program. It is designed to help participants improve their mental and physical health through a holistic approach.
Program Overview
The program is led by health psychologist Jurgita Garvinskait and kinesiotherapist Egl Draugelyt. It covers various topics, including:
- The concept of mindfulness and its development methods
- The opposite of mindfulness - autopilot and its dangers
- Practicing awareness and acceptance of life moments without judgment
- Mindful breathing exercises
Program Details
The program runs for six weeks, with sessions held every Thursday. It is a scientifically-based psychological and physical well-being enhancement program that has been shown to have an anti-depressant effect equivalent to medication. The program takes a holistic approach, strengthening not only the body and mind but also the body-mind relationship, improving overall life satisfaction, stress management skills, and self-relationship.
Funding and Partnerships
The project is co-funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Sport program, "Promoting Social Inclusion and Equal Opportunities in Sport." The project is implemented with the help of eight partners from five European Union countries.

The program aims to provide participants with the tools and knowledge to improve their mental and physical well-being. By the end of the program, participants can expect to have a better understanding of mindfulness, improved stress management skills, and enhanced overall well-being.
Eligibility and Participation
The program is open to individuals who are interested in improving their mental and physical health. A total of 25 participants are selected for the program, which provides a supportive and interactive environment for learning and growth.
