The purpose of the bachelor's study professional practice is to consolidate and improve the general knowledge and skills acquired during the study program, as well as to perform professional tasks according to the needs of the company or institution.

Program Structure

The program consists of several fields of study, including:

• Geografija (Geography)
  • Practicum period: 8th semester
  • Duration: 1 month, 40 hours/week
  • Contract conclusion deadline: February 4
  • Report submission deadline: March 18
• Kartografija ir GIS (Cartography and GIS)
  • Practicum period: 7th semester
  • Duration: 1 month, 40 hours/week
  • Contract conclusion deadline: August 15
  • Report submission deadline: October 15
• Geologija (Geology)
  • Practicum period: 7th semester
  • Duration: 7th semester/133 hours (including 8 contact hours and 125 independent hours)
  • Report submission deadline: during the exam session (from January 2 to 26)
• Hidrogeologija ir ininerin geologija (Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology)
  • Information is being prepared
• Meteorologija ir hidrologija (Meteorology and Hydrology)
  • Practicum period: 7th semester
  • Duration: 4 weeks, from September 1, but can be completed individually between July 1 and September 30
  • Contract conclusion deadline: June 15
  • Report submission deadline: October 15
