Saluki Summer Bridge

Program Overview

The Saluki Summer Bridge program is designed to help students develop a daily routine for college life. The program is structured, with a daily schedule that students follow.

Selection Process

A committee reviews students' applications, considering their high school transcripts, high school involvement, and essay. The committee selects students based on these factors, as more students apply than there are available slots.

Program Costs

If selected, there is a one-time fee of $25 to cover the cost of courses and other expenses during the program.

Program Requirements

Selected students must participate in the entire program and attend classes every day. The program is residential and takes place on-campus.

Courses

Courses are designed to expose students to what it is like taking college courses, including overall expectations and understanding faculty and institutional expectations. Classes are 50 minutes long, and students generally attend two to three classes per day.

Scholarships

Students who complete the program receive a $250.00 textbook scholarship.
