The course Engineering Cybernetics, Specialization Course (TTK4555) is a second-degree level course offered at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

About the Course

Course Content

Students shall select two subjects ą 3.75 Sp or one ą 7.5 Sp. Relevant subjects are given at the web page. Other subjects are possible if agreed with the institute.


Learning Outcome

  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge in relevant literature. Having good knowledge up to the state of the art in research in selected area.
  • Skills: Independently acquire knowledge in selected area.

Learning Methods and Activities

The subjects are in principle self-tuition, maybe with some lectures or mandatory practice.


Further on Evaluation

To pass the course, two subjects (3.75SP each) must be individually passed. Admission to some of the subjects may be restricted. If there is a re-sit examination, both topics must be repeated.


Recommended Previous Knowledge

For students in the fifth year at Cybernetics and Robotics and second year at Industrial Cybernetics and Cybernetics and Robotics.
