Course Overview

The International Clinical Placement in Nursing course, coded as SYG2303, is a third-year course offered at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Learning Methods and Activities

The course includes clinical studies/placement, lectures, preparations before clinical placement, individual assignments, group assignments, reflection groups, and a homecoming seminar.

Evaluation

  • General Requirements: 90% study participation is required for all practice subjects.
  • Specific Conditions: Admission to the Nursing (BSPL) program is required.
  • Required Previous Knowledge: Admission to the Bachelor in Nursing (BSPL) program and passing specific prerequisite courses are required.

Credit Reductions

The course has academic overlap with SYT2303 and SYA2303. If overlapping courses are taken, a credit reduction will be applied to the course with the lowest grade or the most recently completed course if grades are the same.
