Course Description

The course "Radiography 1: Radiological Physics, the X-ray Imaging System and the Radiographic Image" is a foundation course at level I, with 7.5 credits. It is taught in Norwegian and takes place over one semester, starting in Autumn 2025. The course is located in Gjřvik.

Admission Requirements

Admission to a programme of study is required, specifically the Radiography (BRADIO) programme.

Credit Reductions

This course has academic overlap with the course RAT1002. If students take overlapping courses, they will receive a credit reduction in the course where they have the lowest grade. If the grades are the same, the reduction will be applied to the course completed most recently.

Examination Arrangement

The examination arrangement for this course is a school exam, with a weighting of 100/100. The exam is 3 hours long and uses the Inspera Assessment system. The ordinary examination takes place in Autumn 2025, and the re-sit examination takes place in Summer 2026.
