Master in Pharmacy
The Master of Science in Pharmacy is a two-year programme that gives 120 ECTS credits. It is composed of a selection of courses and a research-based master's thesis.
Programme Description
Pharmacy is the science of preparing and dispensing drugs and medicines. The Master of Science in Pharmacy has a wide range and covers subjects from the basic sciences of chemistry, biology, and medicine to specialised subjects in production of pharmaceuticals and the pharmacological treatment of patients. Pharmaceuticals are cornerstones in modern medicine, and pharmacists play a vital part in development, production, and use of drugs.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the Master of Science in Pharmacy at NTNU requires a 3-year bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Norwegian authorisation/license as a pharmacist. Applicants who are not Nordic citizens must document skills in Norwegian language.
Programme Details
- The programme is taught in Norwegian.
- The application deadline is 15 April.
- The MSc programme only accepts students with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy which has given the grounds for authorisation/license as a prescription pharmacist.
