Program Description

The Teacher Training in Pedagogy (in combination) program is designed to be studied in combination with another bachelor's study program (second subject specialization) along with a third component: "teacher's foundation" or "UZ" (common social science, pedagogical, and psychological foundation of teaching) totaling at least 180 credits.


Admission Requirements

  • The condition for admission to the bachelor's study program in Teacher Training in Pedagogy (in combination) is completed full secondary education with a maturity exam.
  • The required document for the acquisition of education is an officially verified copy of the maturity certificate.
  • Applicants are admitted to a predetermined number of places.
  • In the case of a lower number of applicants than the faculty's predicted number of admitted applicants, applicants may be admitted without an entrance examination.

Profile of the Graduate

Graduates of the bachelor's teacher training combined study program in the specialization of Teacher Training in Pedagogy (in combination) are prepared to continue their studies in the second degree of higher education. The graduate has acquired the basics of educational sciences and legislative contexts of education, has gained the basics of digital literacy, and is capable of independently performing the profession of a pedagogical assistant and educator.

  • In the Area of Knowledge: The graduate possesses basic pedagogical and didactic knowledge enabling them to understand the relationship between education and training processes.
  • In the Area of Abilities: The graduate can apply theoretical principles and practical procedures to analyze and solve various pedagogical situations.
  • In the Area of Competencies: The graduate has basic professional and didactic competencies, is competent in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational activities belonging to the level of pedagogical assistant and educator.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates can find employment as pedagogical employees performing work activities in the category of pedagogical assistant and educator. They can also be employed in other spheres requiring the first degree of higher education, such as lecturers in further education, methodologists of work with youth, etc.
