University Program Information
The University program in question is the Specialization Study in Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Comenius University in Bratislava.
Admission Criteria
To be admitted to the specialization study, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Submit a written application for admission to the specialization study.
- Have a degree in a relevant field (e.g., pharmacy).
- Meet the requirements for the performance of healthcare professions under a special regulation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Slovak language and professional terminology.
- Have a free capacity of lecturers.
- Receive a recommendation from the dean of the faculty and the main guarantor of the specialization field.
- Obtain consent from an external tutor to lead and process personal data for the purposes of verifying qualification and the need for specialization study.
- Submit a copy of the document on specialization in the field of pharmacy of the person who agreed to be an external tutor.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the specialization study are as follows:
- Specialization study (index, logbook, educational courses, concentration, training place): 280,-
- Specialization study (educational courses, concentration, training place): 260,-
- Educational course taken separately: 50,- / week
- Concentration taken separately: 20,- / week
- Specialization exam: 400,-
- Repeating the specialization exam: 100,-
- Issuing a language mutation of the decision on admission to the specialization study in English: 50,-
Recognition of Previous Study and Practice
The recognition of previous study and practice is possible in accordance with the valid legislation, internal regulation, and dean's guidance. It is necessary to submit an application with attached documents confirming the completion of previous study and practice.
Study Content
The study content includes theoretical and practical training in the field of pharmacy, with a minimum standard of education.
