Faculty of Management
The Faculty of Management at the University of Comenius in Bratislava provides a Master's degree program in Management.
Master's Degree Program in Management
The Master's degree program in Management is a 2-year full-time study program taught in the Slovak language.
Profile of the Applicant
The applicant for the Master's degree program in Management should be a graduate of a Bachelor's degree program with an interest in systematically developing their professional knowledge, analytical thinking, and practical management skills. The applicant should have the ability to acquire knowledge through active forms of learning, including team tasks and presenting the results of their work in the Slovak language, both verbally and in writing, at a very good level. The applicant should have good knowledge of basic theories and concepts of management, microeconomics, macroeconomics, business finance, accounting, marketing, and the ability to work with MS Office applications at an advanced level.
Admission Terms
The basic condition for admission is the completion of a Bachelor's degree program or a Master's degree program.
Additional Admission Requirements
- An oral admission exam via video conference in front of a committee, focusing on professional topics in economics, finance, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship, with a demonstration of English language knowledge.
- Applicants who completed their previous studies at a foreign school are required to participate in the admission exam.
- Conditions for admission without the obligation to take the admission exam are specified in the admission criteria.
Application for Study
The application for study is submitted electronically through the University's electronic application portal.
Required Attachments to the Electronic Application
For applicants who are citizens of the Slovak Republic:
- A verified copy of the Bachelor's (Master's, Engineer's) diploma, certificate of state examination, and diploma supplement, or a confirmation of completed studies issued by the faculty's study department if the diploma has not been issued yet.
- In the case of applicants who studied outside the Slovak Republic, a certificate of recognition of foreign higher education (more information on the Recognition Certificate) together with a verified copy and official translation of the diploma into the Slovak language, or a decision on the recognition of the diploma issued by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic - Center for Recognition of Diplomas (SUDV).
- A curriculum vitae in the Slovak language.
- A document confirming payment of the admission fee.
For foreign applicants:
- A verified copy of the Bachelor's (Master's, Engineer's) diploma, certificate of state examination, and diploma supplement, or a confirmation of completed studies issued by the faculty's study department if the diploma has not been issued yet.

Admission Fee
The admission fee is 50 EUR, payable based on the electronic application to the specified account number or QR code.
Term of Admission Procedure
The term for submitting the application for study is from December 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, for the first round, and until July 31, 2026, for the second round, depending on interest and capacity.
Number of Applicants to be Admitted
The faculty plans to admit 300 applicants to the Master's degree program in Management.
Internal Regulations
The faculty adheres to the rules of the admission procedure, criteria for admitting applicants, and the directive of the rector on the amount of tuition fees and fees associated with study at the University of Comenius in Bratislava.
