Introduction to the Program
The University of Comenius offers a unique program in English Language and Culture, combined with Bulgarian Language and Culture. This program is designed to prepare students for a career in translation, interpretation, and other fields requiring language competence, intercultural communication, and creative and critical skills.

Program Structure
- The program is a combined study of English and Bulgarian languages and cultures.
- It is a three-year program with a standard duration of study.

Admission Requirements
- The admission requirement is a completed secondary education with a maturity exam.
- Applicants must also pass a test of general study prerequisites and a test in English.
- Applicants who have participated in the national round of the English Language and Literature Olympiad and have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd can be admitted without an entrance exam.

- A knowledge of Slovak at the B2 level (according to CEFR) is required for international students.
