Pre-College Education Program

The Pre-College Education Program is designed for international students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at Tianjin University. The program provides students with a comprehensive education in Chinese language, mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as well as other subjects.

Eligibility

1. Nationality: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens.
2. Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years old.
3. High school diploma: Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Application Period and Admission Date

• Spring Program: Application period from October 15 to January 31, admission date in late February
• Autumn Program: Application period from March 15 to July 31, admission date in early September

Application Method

Applicants must submit their applications through the Tianjin University International Student Management System.

Required Documents

1. Passport: Scan of the passport's personal information page
2. High school diploma: Scan of the high school diploma or certificate of expected graduation
3. Transcripts: Scan of high school transcripts
4. Language proficiency certificate: HSK certificate (level 4 or above) or certificate of Chinese language study
5. Physical examination report: Scan of the physical examination report
6. Certificate of no criminal record: Scan of the certificate of no criminal record

Tuition Fees

• Spring Program: 16,900 CNY (including 420 CNY application fee)
• Autumn Program: 28,900 CNY (including 420 CNY application fee)

Accommodation Fees

• On-campus accommodation: 60 CNY per day (single room), 50 CNY per day (double room)
• Off-campus accommodation: Students must register with the local public security bureau within 24 hours of arrival
