Who This Course Is Suitable For
This course is primarily designed for Pacific workers but is also open to anyone working with Pacific communities. It is a 'train the trainer' nutrition course, benefiting those who can train, advise, and support others in making healthy food choices.
Delivery Mode
The course is delivered via two formats:
- Auckland, hybrid: a mix of face-to-face (Ellerslie, Auckland) and online, consisting of 12 sessions once a week
- Online: 12 two-hour evening sessions, once a week
Active participation in learning activities, discussions, and group work is encouraged, along with the completion of all assessments.
After Completing This Course
Participants who complete this course will be awarded the Certificate of Proficiency in Pacific Nutrition (worth 15 points, Level 4) from AUT.
