Program Overview

The University program in Environmental Management and Inspection is a 3-year, full-time study program taught in Romanian. The program is offered by the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering, one of the most modern and dynamic faculties of the Babe-Bolyai University.


Program Structure

The program aims to provide students with a high level of professional knowledge in the field of environmental management and inspection. The curriculum is designed to enable students to acquire a solid foundation in the core subjects, as well as specialized knowledge in the chosen field.


Admission Criteria

The admission criteria for the program include:


  • Motivation letter, evaluated as accepted or rejected
  • High school diploma grade (with a weighting of 100% in the admission final grade)
  • Enviro-Pass competition score:
    • Applicants with more than 80 points in the Enviro-Pass competition receive an admission grade of 10.00
    • Applicants with less than 80 points in the Enviro-Pass competition can calculate their admission grade using the formula: ADMISSION GRADE = 0.1 x COMPETITION GRADE + HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA GRADE
  • Applicants with a high school diploma grade of 9.21 or lower and 79 points in the Enviro-Pass competition are admitted with a grade of 10.00
  • Applicants who have won prizes or awards in international or nationally recognized school olympiads or competitions are admitted with a final grade of 10, based on the relevant documents

Additional Admission Requirements

  • Applicants who have participated in competitions organized by other faculties or universities during their high school studies can calculate their admission grade using the formula: ADMISSION GRADE = 0.5 x COMPETITION AVERAGE GRADE + 0.5 x HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA GRADE
