Geology Program - Hungarian Section
Introduction
The Geology program is a 3-year daytime course that offers students a comprehensive education in geology. The program is designed for students who are passionate about nature, enjoy both office and fieldwork, and are interested in environmental protection. Students who choose this program will have the opportunity to explore interesting and lesser-known areas, participate in geotourism, and search for mineral resources, precious stones, and fossils.

Admission Criteria
- Motivation letter (accepted or rejected)
- High school diploma grade or points from the Koch Antal Geology Competition (100% of the final grade)
Ranking Criteria for Equal Scores
- Grade in the secondary school specialization subjects (second exam)
- Grade in the chosen subject (third exam)
Motivation Letter
- The motivation letter should be 1-2 pages long, typed or handwritten, in A4 format.
- The letter should include:
- Reasons for choosing the program
- Brief introduction of the applicant (previous experience, achievements, school or extracurricular activities)
- Expectations and professional plans after completing the undergraduate program
- The letter will be evaluated based on:
- Consistency of ideas
- Significance and originality of ideas
- Interest in and knowledge of the chosen field
- Clarity and coherence of expression
- Appropriate vocabulary and grammar
Evaluation
Applicants will receive either an "Accepted" or "Rejected" evaluation.
