Overview
This program is designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop cardiovascular rehabilitation programs.

Presentation
This formation allows for the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for the development of cardiovascular rehabilitation programs.
Objectives of the Formation
- Actualization of knowledge in the domain of cardiovascular diseases (physiopathology, epidemiology, prevention, treatments) and their rehabilitation.
- Demonstration of specific cardiovascular rehabilitation programs.
- Training in reconditioning techniques and therapeutic education strategies.
Pedagogical Organization
- 100 hours of teaching over 1 year
- Theoretical teaching: 60 hours
- Practical teaching: 40 hours
- 3 sessions of 4 to 5 days each.

Theoretical Teaching
- Physiopathology and epidemiology of atheroma.
- Cardiovascular anatomophysiology.
- Symptomatic forms (coronaropathy, heart failure, arteriopathy of the lower limbs, amputation).
- Update on investigation methods.
- News on invasive and medical therapies.
- Risk factors, primary and secondary prevention.
- Pain in cardiovascular pathology.
- Bases and modalities of aptitude evaluation for effort.
- Effects of cardiovascular rehabilitation, indications, and contraindications.
- Rehabilitation programs during coronaropathy, heart failure, AMI, vascular amputation.
- Role of different interveners: nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, APA teachers, doctors.
- Microcirculation.
- Bases and applications of therapeutic education.
- Healing and local care.
- Heart and sexuality.
- Mood disorders and their management.
- Some notions on research in cardiovascular rehabilitation.
Practical Work
- Aptitude evaluation for effort.
- Reconditioning sessions (global, analytical, electrostimulation).
- Surveillance and adaptation criteria.
- Rehabilitation of heart failure.
- Modalities of intervention in secondary prevention (therapeutic education): dietetics (therapeutic cuisine), physical activity, management of diabetes, dyslipidemia, smoking cessation. Therapeutic education situations.
- Provisional equipment for lower limb arterial amputees; specific evaluation and reconditioning techniques.
- Emergency management: organization, equipment, medico-legal aspects.
- Cutaneous disorders of arterial origin, specific approach.
- Non-invasive vascular explorations. Elastic bandages and drainage techniques.
