Overview
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is widely regarded as a critical stepping stone to the upper echelons of management. It is designed to transform proficient managers into holistic leaders who excel at guiding organizations in complex environments. Completing the MBA also paves the way for further academic pursuits, such as the Doctor of Business Leadership (DBL), contingent upon meeting its admission requirements.

Admission Requirements and Supporting Documents
- A Bachelor's Honours Degree or a Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of 120 credits, or a 480-credit Bachelor's Degree. A copy of the transcript, displaying grades for each module and information on completion status, must be submitted.
- A recent, detailed Curriculum Vitae reflecting three or more years of managerial or professional work experience.
- A clear copy of an Identity Document or Passport is required; a driver's license will not be accepted.
- Successful applicants may be required to take an admissions test as part of the selection process.
Additional selection criteria may be imposed by the Graduate School of Business Leadership as necessary.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Experience may be recognized and translated into subject credits within the qualification.

Tuition Fees
MBA Tuition Fees Include:
- Application fee: R 160 (non-refundable and in addition to tuition fees) Not applicable if you have a student number.
- Tuition fees split into acceptance deposit and subsequent payment plan.
- A foreign levy will be charged for students not residing in South Africa.
MBA Payment Structure and Tuition Fees for 2026
Total MBA Fees: R 251 850
- Year One: Semester One
- Payable on registration: R 33 580 + applicable levies
- Payable on 15 March: R 33 580
- Year One: Semester Two
- Payable on 31st June: R 33 580 (second registration)
- Payable on 15 August: R 33 580
- Year Two
- 50% on registration: R 58 765
- 25% payable 15 May: R 29 383
- 25% payable 15 August: R 29 383
Withdrawal from Programme
Subject to Section 12(2) of the Consumer Protection Act, a cancellation fee applies as follows:
- Semester 1
- Withdrawal before the programme commencement date will be refunded in full.
- Withdrawal after the commencement date, but before 15 March 2026, incurs a liability equal to 50% of tuition fees.
- Withdrawal after 15 March 2026 incurs full tuition fee liability.
- Semester 2
- Withdrawal before the programme commencement date will be refunded in full.
- Withdrawal after the commencement date, but before 15 August 2026, incurs a liability equal to 50% of tuition fees.
- Withdrawal after 15 August 2026 incurs full tuition fee liability.
Registered students wishing to withdraw from any SBL programme must do so in writing to the Programme Administrator and the Fees Office. Failure to comply could result in liability for the full tuition fees of the programme.
