Admission Requirements

Admission to the university is dependent on meeting specific admission requirements for the chosen qualification.


  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with at least 30% in the language of teaching and learning
  • A Senior Certificate (SC) with at least an F symbol on HG or E symbol on SG in the language of teaching and learning
  • A National Certificate (Vocational) with at least 40% in the language of teaching and learning in terms of the NSC
  • Applicants who would like to apply for admission through recognition of prior learning (RPL) must be at least 30 years old, have completed at least Grade 10, and have at least five years' relevant work experience in the study field
