The Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching is a professional 'capping' qualification for educators in schools. The purpose of this qualification is to develop and consolidate appropriate disciplinary, pedagogical, practical, and situational knowledge.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the university is dependent on meeting specific admission requirements for the chosen qualification. For the Postgraduate Certificate in Education, an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree with History completed up to third year level, and either Afrikaans, IsiNdebele, IsiXhosa, IsiZulu, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, SiSwati, Tshivenda, Xitsonga, or Applied Language completed up to second year level, is required.
