Admission Requirements
Admission to the Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training is dependent on meeting specific admission requirements. These include:
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning, and submission of a portfolio of artworks to the Department of Art and Music.
- A Senior Certificate (SC) with matriculation exemption with at least a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in the language of teaching and learning, and submission of a portfolio of artworks to the Department of Art and Music.
- Qualification for exemption from the Matriculation Board with at least a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in the language of teaching and learning, and submission of a portfolio of artworks to the Department of Art and Music.
- Applicants who would like to apply for admission through recognition of prior learning (RPL) must be at least 23 years old, have completed at least Grade 10, and have at least five years of relevant teaching experience in the study field.

Application for Admission
Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2026 academic year must be submitted online between 3 November and 19 December 2025. Admission to a qualification is not automatic and depends on whether the applicant complies with the admission requirements and if space is available.

Curriculum
