The curriculum for this qualification includes:

• Compulsory Modules:
  • HMEMS80: Research Methodology
  • HRPUB83: Research Report: Public Administration (co-requisite: HMEMS80)
• Elective Modules: Choose 3 from the following:
  • PUB4860: Public Human Resource Management
  • PUB4861: Public Financial Management
  • PUB4862: Governmental Planning and Policy Analysis in the Public Sector
  • PUB4863: Study of Organisations and the Public Sector
  • PUB4865: Management and the Public Sector

Registration Information

• Applicants: May only register if they have received an offer of placement from the university and have accepted the offer online.
• Re-registering Students: May register for the 2026 academic year once the registration period opens.

Module Selection

• Co-requisite: Module A is a co-requisite for Module B. Students must register for both modules simultaneously.
• Pre-requisite: Students must pass Module A before registering for Module B.
• Maximum Number of Credits: Students may not register for more than 60 credits per semester or 120 credits per academic year.

Study Time and Fees

• Study Time: Approximately 6 to 8 hours per week for semester modules and 4 to 6 hours per week for year modules.
• Fees: Students must calculate their study fees based on the modules they choose.
