Program Details
Electrical Engineering I - EEA1501
- Purpose: To develop the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills required for learners' further learning towards becoming a competent Engineering Technician.
- Description: This module is compulsory and core for the National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. It aims to enable students to develop competencies and skills in solving problems for Direct Current electrical, magnetic, inductive, and capacitive circuits.
- Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students will be able to perform calculations with respect to different components in a direct current circuit and discuss and design basic electrical control circuits.
- Articulation: Successful completion of this module allows students' entry to Electrical Engineering II and Electrical Machines II modules, with potential articulation possibilities.
