Program Description
This module is primarily industry-oriented and provides students with a sound knowledge base in production engineering. At the completion of the module, the student will be able to understand and practically apply production engineering techniques and principles to broadly defined engineering problems in manufacturing and service environments.

The program has a pre-requisite of EPT1601 and is presented in English. The module is presented online.
Program Purpose
The purpose of the program is to provide students with a sound knowledge base in production engineering, including layout and location strategies, inventory management, MRP and ERP, project management, Just-In-Time and Lean Manufacturing, total productive maintenance, AI robotics and autonomous systems, and Supply-Chain Management.
