- Botanical classification and basic morphology
- Field management and cultivation practices for the major field crops in South Africa Students who complete this module will be able to:
- Interpret, discuss and evaluate important agronomic practices
- Apply modern technologies and concepts for sustainable agriculture
- Enhance crop productivity of cereal, industrial and legume crops with specific reference to the South African environment
