Chinese Language Program

The Chinese Language Program is designed for foreign citizens over 16 years old and in good health.

Requirements

• Foreign citizens over 16 years old and in good health.
• Application Documents:
  • Application fee: 260 yuan RMB
  • HEU Online Application: please fill in the application carefully, submit application materials, and print application form
  • Passport copy

Procedure

• HEU Online Application: please fill in the application carefully, submit application materials, and print application form
• If accepted by HEU, HEU will send an 'HEU Admission Notice' and 'Visa Application for Study in China'
• With both documents, applicants can apply for an X visa (student visa) in the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate
• Please register at HEU in time with:
  • Original Records of Physical Examination or take physical examination in Harbin (Blood Test Result, ECG, and X-ray Film are required)
  • HEU Admission Notice
  • Visa Application for Study in China

Schooling

• 4 months
• Spring semester: Early March to mid-July
• Fall semester: Early September to mid-January

Registry

• Spring semester: February 15 March 1 (Registry date is in the 'HEU Admission Notice')
• Fall semester: August 15 - September 1 (Registry date is in the 'HEU Admission Notice')

Tuition Fee

• Long-term: 7000 yuan RMB/semester
• Short-term:
  • 800 yuan RMB/1 week
  • 1400 yuan RMB/2 weeks
  • 1800 yuan RMB/3 weeks
  • 2100 yuan RMB/4 weeks
• One to One teaching: 150 yuan RMB/one personone hour

Class

• Beginner's Class (A)
• Elementary Class (B)
• Intermediate Class (C and D)
• Advanced Class (E)
• There will be 15 students maximum in each class.

Certificate

• If students pass all the examinations at the end of the studying, they will be awarded a Graduation Certificate.

• 800 yuan RMB per year per person
• 400 yuan RMB for 6 months per person

Miscellaneous

• Deposit: 500 yuan RMB (refundable)
• Bedding: 460 yuan RMB/set (Degree student only)
• Fees of Electricity and Water: about 80-100 yuan RMB per month
• 5 yuan RMB per day per person, when the residence duration is less than one month
• Internet: 40 yuan RMB per month
• Note: 20 yuan RMB for installment
