Diploma in Dental Operating Room Assistant

Overview

The Diploma in Dental Operating Room Assistant is a 2-year full-time course that trains students to assist dental surgeons in sterilizing and at the chair side by supplying instruments, handling various dental materials and medicines.

Course Structure

The course includes theory and practical sessions with basic nursing training, general anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, basic life support, bio-medical waste management, food and nutrition, dental materials, and basic knowledge of computers, office assistance, and patient record management.

Eligibility

• Duration: 2 years (full-time)
• A candidate should be at least 17 years at the time of admission and medically fit to pursue the course.
• A candidate must have passed 10+2 with Biology as a subject from a recognized Board/University or an equivalent qualification.
