Admission Process

PhD Supervisor Details

MAHE will call for EOI from eligible guides before each admission cycle. The guide's details, area of research interest, and proposed research keywords will be uploaded on the PhD webpage.

Course Fee

The course fee for the PhD program at MAHE is available on the MAHE website.

Joining Process

If an applicant accepts the offer, they must confirm their acceptance through the candidate portal and pay the first installment fee. The applicant must then visit the admissions office with the required documents for verification.

Leave Policy

PhD scholars are eligible for casual leave (12 days) and special casual leave (15 days) per calendar year. Leaves can be availed only with prior approval from the guide and institution.

Financial Assistance

PhD scholars selected under the full-time PhD category are eligible for financial assistance of up to Rs. 30,000 for the entire duration of the PhD program. This amount can be utilized for presenting papers at conferences, attending workshops, and other academic activities.

Switchover to National Fellowship or Other PhD Categories

PhD scholars who get national fellowship while pursuing their PhD can apply for switchover approval through their guide, co-guide (if applicable), HOD, and HOI with relevant documents.
