Program Overview
The Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) program was launched in 2005 and has since experienced progressive growth in terms of student enrollment.
Program Highlights
- Students are motivated and trained to integrate theoretical knowledge into clinical skills.

Teaching Methodology
- Audio-visual methods supplemented with PPT, videos, etc.
- Clinical demonstrations, case-based learning, expert interactions, peer-assisted teaching, role play, seminars, small group discussions, and teaching.
Assessment
- Semester-based scheme with two sessional exams.
- Clinical conference presentations and evaluation.
- Students are evaluated for their clinical practicum and clinical performance.
Career Opportunities
- Students can work as Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists in various hospital settings, super specialty clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
- Opportunities are also available in industries related to hearing aids and cochlear implants, private clinics, and defense systems.
- Students may also pursue faculty positions and research scholarships in institutions and universities.
- There are opportunities for higher education in international universities, often under scholarship schemes.
- Placements are available as Swallowing Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists in schools, and Clinical Audiologists worldwide.

The program consists of three years of academic study plus a 10-month internship.
