Physician Assistant Program
The Physician Assistant Program at MCHP trains students in a medical model to practice medicine as part of a healthcare team. The program qualifies candidates to conduct physical examinations, treat illnesses, order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies, counsel on healthcare issues, and assist in surgeries.
Focus of the Course
The PA program involves both didactic lectures and clinical training, focusing on basic medical sciences and medical and surgical disciplines, including ENT, Pediatrics, Emergency medicine, Orthopedics, Cardiac sciences, Neuro sciences, Endocrinology, Oncology, and general surgery.
