The Medical Radiation Physics program at MCHP Manipal was established in 2004 and is concerned with the use of radiation in the treatment of various human cancers.

It involves modern techniques such as VMAT, SBRT, SRS, ISBT, etc. In addition to routine treatment planning work, personnel are also frequently involved in quality assurance and research.
