M.A - English Program

The M.A - English program is a two-year postgraduate program that offers a varied range of literatures written in English. The program aims to generate interest in literature and helps to inculcate a spirit of critical enquiry, analytical, and creative faculties in students.

Overview

The program begins with a basic introduction to English literature, its various sources, and forms. A gamut of inter-disciplinary courses covers English Studies (novels, poetry, and drama), Linguistics, Translation Studies, Gender Studies, World Literatures, Film Studies, etc.
