Overview

The X-Science Camp is a week-long science camp held on the campus of ècole polytechnique, designed for high school students in their first year. The program aims to provide an immersive experience in the world of science and engineering, with a focus on mathematics, physics, and computer science.

Program Structure

The X-Science Camp includes:

• Scientific learning activities, such as open problems, tutoring, and projects
• Workshops dedicated to career guidance and orientation
• Support for public speaking and confidence building
• Team-building challenges and sports activities

Accompaniment and Mentorship

During the camp, students are accompanied by:

• Professors from the French National Education system
• Students from the engineering schools of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris
• Research professors from the laboratories of ècole polytechnique

Program Details

• The program is free of charge for participants, with ècole polytechnique covering transportation, accommodation, and meal costs.
• The camp is open to high school students in France.
• The next edition of the X-Science Camp will take place from July 5 to 11, 2026, on the ècole polytechnique campus in Palaiseau.
