Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability

The Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability is a multi-disciplinary degree that prepares students to tackle the great sustainability challenges of the future. This course explores diverse perspectives on society and the environment from across the humanities, business, law, and philosophy.

The Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability leads to positive change by balancing human and ecological needs. Students refine their passions and dive into a world of creative and applied critical thinking, Indigenous knowledge, reflexive practice, and empirical evidence. This course offers hands-on experience through professional settings, integrated work-learning opportunities, and community engagement initiatives.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants with recent secondary education must meet the minimum entry requirements and subject prerequisites for the course.
• Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study or higher education study may be eligible for admission.
• International applicants must meet the English language requirements.

Pathways

Pathways into the course are available for current or recent Year 12 students, applicants with previous study and/or life experience, and those who have completed a diploma or bridging course relevant to the desired course.

The average first-year fee for the course is $15,428 CSP. Payment options, scholarships, and income support are available to help students with the cost of studying.

Domestic applicants can apply through the Tertiary Admissions Centre (TAC). Deferment is available for one year.
