Study Business Overseas

The Peter Faber Business School offers students the opportunity to study business overseas, providing them with valuable practical experience and global opportunities to enhance their skills.

Study in Italy

The School offers two units that are taught concurrently over two weeks in Rome, Italy. Students will study with ACU teaching staff, stay on the Rome Campus, and participate in cultural tours and visits.

Program Details

• The program fee is currently estimated to be AUD $3500.
• The program fee covers:
  • 13 nights shared accommodation at the Rome Campus
  • Regional meal plan
  • Industry guest speakers
  • Embassy visits
  • St Peter's Mass
  • Historical and cultural site visits
  • Engagement with local communities and charities
  • Local experiences and activities
• The program fee does not include the return airfare to Italy or incidental expenditures.
• A non-refundable deposit of $200 must be made to confirm a place in the program.

Units of Study

• BUSN201 - International Business
  • Credit Points: 10
  • Prerequisites: NIL
  • This unit enables students to gain a broad and critical understanding of the issues involved in the operation of an international business and the different challenges managers of such businesses face in a global business environment.
• ECON200 - Economics: Policy Frameworks and Markets
  • Credit Points: 10
  • Prerequisites: NIL
  • This unit aims to develop an understanding of the key principles and tools that economists use to interpret the role of economics in business, and critically analyse economic policies that impact on Australia and the global economy.

Rome Campus

• The Rome Campus is located on Janiculum Hill, near the trendy Trastevere district and just 2km from Vatican City.
• The campus is bright and modern with all the facilities students will need for their stay.
• The sprawling site has plenty of gardens to relax in and terraces that offer views over the city.

Financial Support

• Program participants are usually eligible to receive the Vice-Chancellor and President's Travel Grant of AUD$500 to assist with the cost of their economy airfare.
• Eligible students may also apply for an OS-Help Loan to support the cost of travel and incidentals.
